How do SeaVees fit?Updated 3 years ago

Most of our styles fit true to size, and all of our shoes are standard width (D for Mens, B for Womens). You can find specific size and fit notes on each style's product page.

Take a quick look at the shoes in your closet. If they're all the same size, then stick with that size in SeaVees. If you're between sizes, (ex: some size 9’s and some size 9.5’s) we recommend you size up in SeaVees (go with the 9.5).

If you prefer wearing thicker, cushioned socks please go with a half size larger than normal.

Options for wide feet?

If you have wider feet, styles such as the Westwood, Hawthorne, Monterey, Darby, and Army Issue have slightly more room in the toe box and mid-foot area. Typically, the more lacing eyelets the better. If you like one of our other styles (such as the Hermosa Plimsoll Sneaker), we recommend ordering a half size up for those with wider feet.

Trying on your shoes

Throw on your new SeaVees and strut around your home like you own them (because you do!). Try them with and/or without socks, whatever you prefer. We suggest wearing them for at least 15 minutes. Please don’t give them a test run on a trip to the grocery store or a weekend outing. We will not accept sneakers worn outside for a return or exchange. If the fit is off, we offer a quick and easy exchange process.

Still not sure?

We'd be happy to talk about it with you and help you find the right shoe for you.
